Location: Westbound Interstate 30 at the Dolphin Road Bridge in Dallas, Texas

Time of Incident: 4:13 PM CDT

Casualties: 1 Fatility (Truck Driver)

Description: Tractor trailer appeared to exit roadway to the right and directly impact one of the bridge supports. The driver's cab was destroyed and a bridge support severely damaged. Dallas Fire-Rescue HAZMAT and Station 19 (Including the US&R unit) responded. Sadly, the driver of the tractor trailer was killed.

The cab of the tractor trailer was pushed backwards and up. Notice the headlight nearly on top of the trailer. Fire crews wait for the Texas Department of Transportation to arrive before proceeding with any attempt at removing the vehicle.
